Once a year. And it’s from my registrar.

they’re required to remind customers each year to check their whois info for accuracy
They actually have to keep details on file like which customers they emailed, which % of clients did update their info and which bounced back (the answer should be 0), etc. At the end of the year they fill out an icann questionnaire and if they don’t answer everything with the bare minimum they get audited (answering a: less than 5% as opposed to b: 5-10%)
