I set mine up on a pre-pay plan… but my other account has a $500 auto bill limit.

I actually prefer pre-pay, though it takes a toll on your cash-flow.

Just curious…

All the web design work that I have done was either for myself, a favor for a friend, or small cash jobs here and there.

How much would a moderately skilled web designer make starting off (working for a company or small business)?

I know this is a vaugue question with MANY variables; experience, skills, etc… But generally speaking, can anyone give me a ball park figure?

I’m beginning to realize that I may be better off hiring someone for my business, rather than doing the design work myself.

I am looking for a photo hosting service that allows you to share/sell the photos you have uploaded…and make a profit.

I know there are several sites out there that allow you to host your photos and sell them, but they keep 100% of the money. I am looking for a site that would allow me to set my own prices and keep a part of the proceeds.

Shutterfly offers this for $/year and a comission.

I’ve looked at picasa, snapfish and winkflash and I don’t think they offer this option.

Some themes only let you create a few pages and they display horizontally in tabs across the top of the screen. That sort of limits the amount of pages you can have, especially if the pages have long titles.

I need some nice-looking themes that list pages vertically down a side column. That way I can have as many as I want without worrying about horizontal space.

This is going to be for a content site, where each section of content appears on a page, as opposed to a blog that has many posts appearing on the main page and is regularly updated.

I’ve got a site that’s growing very well in the clothing industry and see potential in monetizing some of the content with affiliated offers; mostly just t-shirts (namely designer tees).

just about all of the t-shirt sites have an affiliate program. Just google some sites and look for an affiliate signup, usually found in the footer

A buddy of mine wants to create a site where people can upload stats and track their RTTS player for the upcoming game MLB10: The Show.

His idea is that it would basically look like this:

I told him it would probably require some advanced php scripting, but I only know the extreme basics of php.

I think he’s looking for the ability to create an account, upload stats that automatically tally/average depending on the stat category etc. and possibly to export stats into vbcode to be pasted into peoples own RTTS threads.

So instead of inserting blocks of Adsense code that Google gives you and saves in its Adsense database, you enter your Adsense ID and Channel number and the colors you want to use into a plugin and it inserts the ads on your site either wherever you want, or randomly (supposedly to prevent ad blindness).

Is it still safe to use? Does Google care if you use hybrid code rather than having Google generate and save the code for you that you use?

I just wanna make sure. I don’t want Google to be like "hey, this guy is getting clicks but we have no record of this chunk of Adsense code anywhere on our servers" and hit me with the ban hammer.
