It’s a local car forum. I was kind of part owner up until my partner decided to sell it for which I think might’ve been too little. It wasn’t making any money but that was only because we were too lazy to monetize it.

without having to pay 30 bucks a year to renew it

You can’t.

Is it a .cc or .ws or something else strange? Why is it $30 a year

go to one of the companies that don’t rip you off and just pay for 10 years for > $10 a year if you want to hold it for a while.

so what if i buy from them, do i have full rights to the name/domain as if it is mine?

yeah, good idea, pay $100 a year to get a domain that costs $30 a year for free

I’ve been buying domains that are dropping with PR and have been doing pretty well, although I would like to get some pr 6 domains.

Anyone know a good place to get high pr domains, besides shit like dp/wf?

eh, not from what I have seen. I have been buying a bunch of PR sites, rebuilding links, and the pr has stayed the same. Ive had a few that made in through 2 pr updates and no drop

what are you doing, reselling backlinks?

I have 5 ecommerce sites. I have a web right now of around 50 domains with pr (3-5) that I have bought, that link to my money sites main page/landing pages/etc. I have no problem getting pr 3,4, and 5′s but would like some 6+. All the PR 6′s I find that are for sale tend to be garbage.

Hai guiz. A friend sent me a link to his site and said on some browsers/screen sizes, the scroll bars appear inactive/grayed out even though there is still content not in the window. It looks like he has a bunch of garbage css that isn’t being used but I can’t see where the overflow is set to hidden or anything that could disable the scroll bars.

PS: I know the site is ugly

Tested in IE6/7/8, Safari, and FireFox. I did not see any scrollbar related issues on your site. And I don’t see anything in the code that is disabling the scrollbars.

Okay… loaded Apache/MySQL via XAMPP and then loaded wordpress. It’s working great, FROM THE SERVER!!! I can’t access the site from remote workstations and if I use a UNC path to a specific file, it displays the actual php code in the browser. I’ve changed permissions and the url settings in wordpress, but not having any luck!

Any suggestions?

Does your Apache installation have PHP?

yes…. otherwise it wouldn’t be running at all

I cant figure out how to modify it.

Im not sure how/where it tells it to place the image once clicked. It says its inserting a div above the <ul> ?

It’s not inserting anything. There’s the element "div.galleria_wrapper" containing an "img.replaced" child. When a thumbnail is clicked, it’s replacing the src of "img.replaced" to the source of the new image.

hmm… i think i see where its doing this.. in line 91 of the galleria.js file…What would i change it to do at the end of the </ul>

I currently going to using Zencart for a skateshop that will most likely have 75items or less, is there any other ebusiness types out there thats better than Zencart? that doesnt cost money?

wheres a good place to buy cheap templates?

Ubercart and Magento are carts that I think are better than ZenCart. Both are open source.

Zen-Cart. lol

Go with Ubercart if you want something relatively easy. Go with Magento if you’re willing to hire a web developer. The Magento learning curve is too steep for newbies, especially folks that are from the Zen-Cart community.
