Okay, so here’s the plan. I’ve got about 10 .com domains that have around 700+ searches a month with low compeition. It’s for a business so obivously I need it to link to the main/money site.. Here’s what I’ve laid out and here’s my questions.
Mainwebsite.com; ExactMatchkeywordphrase.com – x10 using diffrent phrases. ALL the mini/landing page sites use the mainwebsite.com header/navigation so they can click directly onto the main site. I’ll be using a basic webpage with lots of text/content but no links and doing a ton of SEO/link building.. BUT here’s the issue..
It’s only one very SEO (on-page) optmized page, it’s not a mutiple page website. Would there be any way possible for it to rank well? I’ll be making 10 of them and changing them up alot/layout/content/etc. Since it’s an exact match domain + phrase on website, can it rank?
I keep repeating myself, sorry. I really really really need to figure this out. I could throw wordpress on it. But it might confuse customers and I don’t have enough content to write about. Streched over main site (80% of it), and (10% + 10% on two morer) those are running wordpress. So for the other 7 sites, what can I do?
, really need this to work.
Also I’m looking to target 6,000-8,000 monthly searches a month TOTAL with all of them together. The competition is not very high, 90% of the sites that rank now have very little SEO work done, we are talking 200 or less backlinks, but some have 5-6 year old domains, only reason they are ranking in the first place. I just need to figure out a game plan, and I could capture the entire market for my niche/business area.
long term you need to drip out content. throw wordpress on it dont make it 1 page you’re actually hurting your chances more like that. set up autoposter and just submit rss feed / ping it / bookmark every time a post
For sure, that’s what my feelings were. Can’t be one page forever, out it will out-rank or Google will get bored of old content and lower it. Came with four more ideas/separate sections/sites to blog about for the business. Set with these new four wordpress sites for the moment. I think I’m going to just buy up the other six domains and hold onto them until I can think of more ideas. But thanks for the advice! So Pharmonkan you made me think of another idea, so thanks I have more than enough to work on for the moment. Thanks for the fast response too, it’s generally good to see people on here who are always there for help.
How big are your competitors’ sites?
Landing page sites can rank just fine as long as your competitors don’t have huge sites with 1,000s of pages. And even then they can rank well but it’s harder.
Depends entirely on the competition. I’ve got a "Coming soon" landing page with no content sitting at the top of page 2 for a keyword with 40k local searches per month.

Not very big, we are talking 20 pages total with very little content a very short paragraph at best + 100 individual product pages, but here’s the thing.. Once that product is sold it removes itself from the site forever. So they constantly add pages and then remove them within a week. So none of those pages have time to rank or get indexed very well.. Backlinks for those sites are under 150-200 and most/all are generic shit, nothing with good PR. Age is like 5-6 years at most. So competition is very low, like 4-5 sites that are shitty business sites, but they all suck/no seo/good content.
So my game plan is to do the wordpress blog for each of the 4 best keywords, have about 200+ pages in the next 6 months of content for each site with 10 categories. Then over the next few years, I’ll aim for like 1,200 pages of content. So that part is taken care of. + SEO and lots of link building for each.. And do a ton of on-page SEO.
For the landing page/mini site ones (other 6) until I can figure out what to blog about / write content for.. I’m going to just throw up a landing page with wordpress, add like a paragraph of content, and let it sit and see what happens. I should be plenty busy with the other 4, just long enough for those to index then start working on the other 6.
Here’s another issue: If I’m using the same template for 12 sites, but each have UNIQUE content.. Will Google penalize me for that? All will be hosted on the SAME server too. All will have diff domains, cater to diff keywords, BUT each 4/12 will link to ONE main site, so:
(Each for a diff business) but same template/host
4 WordPress full unique content sites > Main Site #1
6 > Landing pages/parking page > Main Site #1
4 WordPress full unique content sites > Main Site #2
6 > Landing pages/parking page > Main Site #2
4 WordPress full unique content sites > Main Site #3
6 > Landing pages/parking page > Main Site #3
I have a fuck ton of work to do.
Sorry if that’s all confusing. It’s hard to explain a website pyramid of like 30 sites. Well, there’s like 10 for each company.

No. Think how many thousands of websites all use the same WP template, for example. But they’re all about different subjects and have different content. Heck, I have a few sites all on the same hosting account that use the same template that are about different things (different niches, different content) and they all rank well for their keywords.

If the one main site they are linking to is also on the same server you may get less linkjuice. I believe the official word from Matt Cutts is that you can link from your own sites to your own sites a bit (he didn’t quantify it) without penalty, but if you start going nuts making your own little networks that are all obviously on the same server to try and inflate your rankings, it’s not going to work.

Two years ago, you sum UBot Studio for given you were spending so many time as good as income presumably make up procedure to do steady offered tasks, or expecting procedure that could do these things. We were confusing to grow the online business. But procedure would stop user any integrate of weeks as sites changed or some-more people began controlling it. |
