my group is making the college of medicine (CoM) website… we handed it over about 2 weeks ago. It’s been nothing but hell with them ever since. We had a prototype that they agreed to. After turning the static prototype into a functioning coldfusion site, they were like "Oh, this isn’t what we wanted." They were unable to point out how the CF site differed from the prototype (besides from the CF site actually functioning) and were all pussy hurt when we wouldn’t completely redo it for free.

Hey guys,

I am trying to figure out a way to replace the main categories in the top navigation with images like I found at this website:

As you will notice, the main categories (Home, About, Brands, Skin Care, etc.) are all images, and the drop down content is all text. This is exactly what I

I need to whip up a site for a work group that works similar to something like the facebook wall, google buzz, or tumblr, in the sense that they will be posting content and then others will be commenting on it, rating it out of 10, etc. It’s for submissions of photos, plans, etc relating to project work.

What makes it unique and hard for me to do in Drupal or WP that I usually work in, is it has to be VERY light/fast, and the content being posted isn’t just blocks of text. It will have 5 different "content types" they can post, some being a multi-upload box for photography, some being links to other business web application assets, etc. Like how tumblr differentiates between content types. Then it all amalgamates into a list that looks like the facebook wall.

Buddy and I have an idea of a site to have written for us. I’ve been in affiliate/internet marketing for some time but don’t know how to code a site of this magnitude. It’s not terribly difficult but I’d rather have an experienced, honest, and trustworthy web designer do it for us.

What we’d like done is a design that is essentially a facebook news feed, but still with registered and non-registered users. Users should be allowed to post photos, videos, and textual content to the site. User posted content is visual to the public. We’d also like the ability for users to anonymously post content(image/video/text) to the site. We would also like the ability for logged in users to rate posted content. Lastly, we’d like "most commented" and "highest ranked" tabs on the top. If you’d like a more descriptive concept please PM me.
