I have a good idea for an App, and I hear that iAds can make you bank.

Developed software on both. Whatchu need?

Someone else has probably already done it and isn’t making money off of it.

I filed a dmca complaint against a site that scrapes 100% of my content and puts it on their blog. The problem is that my site doesnt have a copyright, and from the little that I have read creative commons seems to be fairly worthless. This was the response when I filed against their google adsense account:

Any suggestions about what else I can or should do? I add text to my RSS feed so it tells their users that the content is from my site, but they remove that text within a day or two and its a pain to change all the time. A lot of people use my full RSS feed, so I have no ambition to punish my sites visitors..

I edited a file from Dreamweaver ftp and replaced the file in the host directory. I figured the change would be instant but the page still shows no change.

your browser is caching it. try shift+f5 (or ctrl+f5 if you swing that way ).

otherwise the server is caching it (are you using a framework?).

Looking to boost traffic to a ‘bricks and mortar’ store in the Health & Beauty sector.. can do whatever to the site itself in re; of adding keywords, etc..

don’t really know what to do from there.

new domains?
splash pages on the new domains that have a coupon and encourage people to bring in to the store with them?
directory submissions?
yelp?

want to engage with someone good for the next ~3 months and really boost the traffic to this site and to the store!

I grabbed a couple. Nothing to exciting. I did see overstock.com paid 350,000 for O.CO though. And twitter purchased T.Co

I try to stay away from all the new ones but .co is interesting just for the typo potential for people trying to type .com. So autoinsurance.co could get some nice targeted traffic and be super easy to monetize.

Though not sure how common that type of typo is overall.

Other than that unless you can grab single word keywords, like poker.co, then probably not a whole lot of potential for anything special.

Clueless as to how I would do this…

I want visitors to our site to be able to upload a file. Having them do it through FTP may be too technical for some people.

Ideally they would fill out a short form, then attach the file and hit "Submit"

Name
Project
File
[Submit]

One more complication. The website is not hosted on the same server as the host account that I want the file uploaded to.

Something like this would be great

I’ve worked with several of the popular free cms platforms before like Joomla and Drupal. But I need something even more user friendly.

I found a great service to use called Ngin, but they specialize in sports websites

I am looking for something that is tailored for e-commerce. I don’t mind paying a monthly fee for the product & hosting if it means more time running the business and less time designing the site and troubleshooting the bugs.

I need to let clients have their own login, and lodge tickets to a team of people. Helpdesk-style (but this isn’t for a helpdesk).

Bonus points if it lets us charge them for each ticket.

Self-hosted is preferred, but i’d consider a hosted web app if it can be branded.

I wrote my own in ’03. Thing is probably garbage now.
