At first they’re exciting, but then you start to realize it really is too good to be true. A lot of the tutorials for stuff I really wanted to know sounded like it was taught by some faggot in highschool who was too fat to finish a sentence without huffing, and just learned all of what he knew out of a textbook. Not just once either.. at first I was like ok.. that’s a fluke. No, like most of them on there fucking suck.

I know that feel. The first time I logged on and saw the topics I just about nutted over my head. After browsing around my heart sank as i saw its like 99% garbage cheap mass produced shit.

Peepcasts, railscasts, and destroyallscreencasts are what keep me going.

Also, codeschool.com has insane fucking quality tutorials, but its not like 50 minutes of learning.. more like 10 mins of really fast paced learning then 30 mins of actual exercises. Codeschool has topics like node, backbone, rails, git, etc
