I’ve never really wanted to use in-text but I have someone bugging me from vibrantmedia.com. They might have me talked in to trying it on a limited basis to just those who access my pages via a search engine.

Is vibrantmedia a decent company to go with or should I look into some other place like maybe kontera?

why are they hasseling you? what kind of traffic do you get? what kind of niche?

Anyways, vibrant seems to be a well-established and reputable company so I think I’ll just give them a try for a little while and see what happens.

Check out table 4 for the way they are ranked. Might give you some other companies to look into as far as quality and payouts.

Well, I think vibrant might be dicking me around but if they aren’t than HOLY SHIT, I’m going to be rich!

I only put their in-text ads up on a fraction of my sites pages and so far the earnings are incredible. At least 5x what adsense makes me and adsense is running site-wide.

I’m skeptical of their reports though because it has daily earnings beginning on 12/13 and I didn’t even put their adcode up until 12/15.

As long as the pages I put them on keep a steady pageview, then I’ll just leave things as they are through the next month or two until I see if they actually pay out. If they do, I’ll consider expanding the ads… even though I hate in-text advertising when I go on other sites that use it. If it really pays this well though, then not using it seems stupid.

what kind of eCPMs? they’re supposed to be legit

Their reports aren’t giving me impressions, but when I compare it to the impressions I get for adsense on the same pages, it’s $1.55 for the vibrant eCPM.

With AdSense I average around 30 cents.

do your sites have any video clips? i’ve been testing out pre-roll video ads and i’ve been impressed with the results

There’s a bit of user generated video but it’s all hosted on youtube. I’m not sure if there is a way to monetize that or not.
