Got an OTer last year to help build our company’s website ( ) and now we’re planning to roll out a version 2. We are keeping the same overall design and feel of the site, but will be updating page layout/contents and graphics throughout the site.
What you will be given:
– detailed design requirements
– all written content
– my time and dedication to work with you
– monetary compensation (TBD after the project scope has been agreed upon)
What you need to provide:
– examples of past work with wordpress
– examples of past work with graphics
– creation and sourcing of graphics (photos, diagrams, layout elements, etc..)
– implementing and updating the code in wordpress
Edit: the project candidate should expect to create original diagrams (workflow charts mostly), page design elements (making pages look pretty), and help source photos (also to make site look pretty, we have used istockphoto in the past).
Edit 2: The time frame for this project is 2-3 months.

Yes, we usually sign NDAs with our partners and it would work both ways.

It’s a little odd to ask your graphic designer to provide you with original sources before editing and whatnot. Sometimes they’re not even licensed to do that with their sources.
If I were a designer and you were wanting my brushes, textures, patterns, photographs, etc., I’d simply not give it to you. I’d give you the PSD (perhaps with full history if you requested it in advance), but that’s about it. |
I’m not sure what you mean exactly, I am not asking for original sources at all.
