I have been working website using dreamweaver to edit the pages. When I am viewing the pages through dreamweaver via ftp everything is fine I can edit the pages no problem. Im using Dreamweaver cs3 on OSX. Now when other people are trying to edit the pages via whatever editing software, they say they can’t edit the pages. All the text is on the bottom of the page and the layout is screwed up.

What is going on Is there something wrong with my copy of dreamweaver (which is legit) or what?

It’s been years since I’ve used dreamweaver….but my guess would be there’s a missing local CSS file

they can open the file and edit the code with notepad or notepad++ or something … it just wont look like a webpage if its only an html file with no css

they are doing it through FTP via Dreamweaver

are they downloading dependent files?

I would think so. unless the guy claiming it they can’t edit it is lying. Its a long story but, he is threatening to sue me, he said he wasn’t able to edit a photoshop file a gave him too, he also said the share this buttons and calculator script that I asked for is hurting is google ranking.
