When you search for something and the results show multiple subsequent listings for the same domain.

If I didn’t like the first result or two from that domain, I probably won’t like the next 10, either. BETTER KEEP SHOWING MORE FROM THAT DOMAIN JUST IN CASE.

I also hate how Google modifies the SERPs based on sites you’ve visited.

Right now I have a site showing in position #4 that is actually ranking in position 130. It’s the only site I’ve visited in a search from those keywords.

Why would it show up in position 4, because I’ve visited it before?

What if the site sucked and I never wanted to see it again? Google is throwing it in my face.

That’s like if you go to a smorgasbord, try something, decide you don’t like it, and then when you go back to get more food, they’ve replaced one of the tables with a giant dish of the food you don’t like.

And the example in the first post is like if you go to a restaurant and all they have is food you don’t like served 50 different ways.

I would leave and go eat at the Bing restaurant.

Even worse is the sites like "thebigresource" which just scrape stackoverflow and repost the content

Pretty sure Google hardly displays aggregator sites if the content is just cloned from elsewhere anymore.

It’s a fairly recent thing.

Also if someone is in your Google contacts or whatever, their websites (or maybe websites they’ve +1’ed) sometimes show up higher.
