Just rebuilt our web app in about a day using their CSS/JS collection.
So fucking easy. Fuck doing CSS yourself
been doing some quicky internal webapps with it lately shits legit.
yea its pretty fucking awesome. especially for people like me who are retarded when it comes to design. atleast makes the web app look clean.
bootstrap + phonegap allows me to sell native apps for $$$$$ that barely take any effort.
we rolled out 1.0 of our web app with custom css
became a bear to maintain
swapped out with bootstrap this weekend and releasing this week
shit is awesome.
Bootstrap is shit. Foundation > that.
But yeah way to contribute to a homogenized web.
Is performance on phonegap still kind of shitty and your clients don’t care, or has that gotten better? I made something with it about 1.5 years ago and wrote it off for use again at that time due to performance.
If you’re building hardware intensive apps (i.e. games or a lot of DB lookups) stay away from it.
I’ve done a lot of small business/information apps that are fairly simple with it and it works fine.

You find it filled with extras you don’t need?
I’ve had my own responsive grid framework for a while now. I’ve been considering switching to something more standardized and maintained.
Been using Flex Box lately for apps too.

there is a good bit that can be stripped out, but the usefulness outweighs the extra crap i don’t use
