What is up with googles new indexing strategy?

Any insight into what they have changed? eHow got raped lol

Not sure but the search results for my keyword keep changing every few days. My sites #1 and the results below it change constantly.. it’s like Google can’t decide.

Seven days ago I was #5 on page one for a keyword.
Three days ago I was #3 on page one for a keyword.
Today I’m #5 on page one for a keyword.

, I can’t even keep up with this anymore. Hopefully it keeps up though, because I’m about to do a ton of SEO work with the constant changes going on.

I’ve fluctuated from page 3 position 3 to page 1 position 2 for my most competitive keyword over the past week or so. It’s ridiculous, not sure if these fluctuations are going to be permanent.

Am i the only one who thinks google should be cheered on for the nice and free services that they give? I think they deserve some support, although i know there’s some unfounded criticism on that.

Don’t worry about it bro’s, just keep working on a natural link profile for your site.

if anything, i’ve noticed an increase in traffic from google. not sure if integrating social into their scheme has done anything or not.

I love Google, they help boost my business majorly, and give me the opportunity to work everyday online! The methods to rank a site may be hard to follow, but at least they give out guidelines and allow anyone to do it. But they don’t offer support, so it’s a wild chase of what’s really going on and what we can expect everyday.

But it’s a mod.

Good because ehow is full of worthless bullshit anyway. Their "experts" are wrong quite often.

Wait I might be thinking of expertvilliage.

expert sex change bro

The new panda update was made to get rid of websites where people clicked on it, then clicked back, and sites with unoriginal content or something.. Not quite sure myself.

What, just because you still hold a grudge against me doesn’t mean other people shouldn’t reply. I’d be wise to learn to forgive and forget.

anyones analytics screwy?

they came out with new version couple days ago

i’ve been getting wide margin bounce rates throughout this week.

they need to get rid of those faggot sites that scrape places like stacktrace and just repost everything

It is correct, you still hold a grudge you cannot let go.

How do you think Panda sees an Iframe inside of a POST- on our site we write some posts and reviews of sites in some of our blog posts, we then embed an iframe of that site into the post.

-do you think panda sees those iframe posts as DUPLICATE content? Can it even see a rendered iframe? or just the link… if so ill just post a link from now on.. being our sites are 99% unique content otherwise.

You’re better off to link. IFRAMEs have almost always been discouraged.

Sold! thanks

Heard a story on NPR about this on my way to a client. Basically google is pretty sick of the ads farms on ehow and a few other sites where they know people are getting paid a dollar to write uninteresting often incorrect info just to help rank the site and get ad clicks.

The story specifically mentioned ehow and one other that I can’t remember. My guess is that if your site offers some sort of how to on it, you may have benefited from this as you can now compete fairly.

Some of my sites that are ad-farms lost almost all of their rankings

They’re trying to discourage that, which isn’t really a bad thing, IMHO.

That’s pretty much how much of the internet works

can’t say i’m not guilty of it either
