the site gets about 172,000 uniques a month with over 745,000 page views a month.

we do have a few links from the official game developers website.

and I bet with all those uniques/pageviews, you are making something like 500 bucks a month from the site. AD based sites sure suck at making money

in ad revenue it makes shit. maybe $50 a month. the paid subscriptions do bring in enough to pay for the webserver + 2 game servers and then some.
didnt really start the site to make ad revenue, more of a hobby of mine.

thre phpbb theme I’m using is based off of prosilver and I just found a wp theme that is based off of it as well. Gonna setup a wp install and see what all I can break

failed at the blog or the site in general? Shouldn’t be all that hard making it look similar. Doesn’t have to match exactly anyway . Just something to start dropping keyword content on to get more search traffic.

failed at making it look like the forums. there’s a wordpress theme called wordsilver that looks like prosilver but it’s broke in the new wp. I’ve never tried this before so

well i would grab the images from the forum for the header and footer. so i would probably just need access to the wordpress template. the default theme i think will serve as a good jumping point.

so upload it or give you access to my test wp install dashboard?

access to a test install would be fine. then you can just copy the theme folder over to your live domain.

one thing tho, the blog page width needed to be widened to match the forum layout. do you want to extend the post area, the sidebar, or create a 3 column layout?

fuck. i just accidentally updated wordpress automatically on one of my sites and my custom built theme is just gone.

im going to have to jump on that browning, but i’ll continue to work on yours if you still want to keep it.

3 column would be fine. I’m not picky. 2 columns the size of the sidebar and then have the body take up the rest

check it now. the header.png, bg.png and footer.png are being hosted at imgur.com right now as placeholders. if you want, save those files and upload them to your live folder once you move over the theme and just link them correctly in the proper places.
