To all the Windows based developers:
Which software do you use for invoicing for freelance work? I’m using MacFreelance on my MacBook Pro, and I love it. I’ve got my ThinkPad that sometimes I use, and I’d like to get something Windows based as well just so I’ve got it. If you’ve got any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks a lot.
edit: I’d like to not get into QuickBooks. If anyone is familiar with MacFreelance, I’d like something comparable to that.
why not use a web-based system? then it wouldn’t matter what computer you’re using.

I might still want a standalone because if I’m doing work somewhere and I need to type up an invoice, but I don’t have an internet connection available to me, then a web-based system wouldn’t be any good to me.
If I could find something that synchronized with something web-based, that would be nice.
I still use a word.doc, sent out as a .pdf
so yeah, someone post a good one please
right now i am using quicken for all my book keeping, but a quick easy invoice software would be cool to have to bill and send out receipts
quickbooks online is what I use. before that I was using my homegrown webapp

Looking for a good (and free) web based app
I’ve been using . I use as $12/mo account for unlimited projects and invoices, but they do have a free account for like 3 projects at a time
I wrote a program to generate them for me based on my work log. It’s web based and emails PDFs to clients. My clients can also log in and download the PDFs as needed.
