Interested in creating a website. As a 1st timer, I would just like to ask for USEFUL advice and maybe some beginners guides that I should be looking at.
All help appreciated!!
Do you want to do everything by hand or are you OK using a template/CMS like WordPress?
Basically, im making a script and im trying to get my camera to reload the .jpg it produces. Sounds simple right.
So i go to my web ui but i cant see the source, instead i see that its being run on some sort of activex control. Is it possible to see the source of an activex control to see where the image is coming from?
I recently got some hosting and decided to setup a wordpress site for fun. It came with a free sub domain that I was using for awhile, but then I got a real domain and I can’t figure out how to make that one the permanent domain. Are there any CMS systems coming out that just blow you out of the water? I’m doing some research and found that inline editing is what most new CMS’s are trying to accomplish.
Adobe Day is one of them, although it costs $100k to get your hands on it
Symfony Apostrophy is a close second, with some great addon features.
Are there any other CMS systems that seem to step out of the box for user interface easiability?
so which cms system would you use. I’m working on a drag and drop featured cms system that might make it easier to layout pages, but having trouble with the cms system and the backend database structures. Maybe i’m making this cms system too robust for a 2 month cms system system project
