I’m brain-dead right now and can’t decide how I can do this.
I have two domains: e.com (short) and example.com (long)
I would like the CMS to use e.com so all internal links and everything use e.com, but I would like the domain in the address bar of the browser to always show example.com. So I want example.com to redirect to e.com and e.com to redirect to example.com..? How would I go about doing that?
example.com => e.com;e.com => example.com sounds like a never ending loop to me …
.
yeah, I know it can’t be done like that. that’s why I came to you guys
I suppose it might be easier to just set the CMS up on example.com and rewrite the base in the CMS to be e.com then redirect e.com to example.com..
Why are you using two domains to refer to your site anyway?
Choose one and stick with it.
