Can somebody tell me whats up w/ mailing lists in laymans terms, ie how they work?
I know I could do my own with PHP, but I don’t want that shit getting jacked and having some hacker spam everyone I send it to. My client is on 1and1, but their shit sucks, I can’t fucking figure out how to use it, plus they have some settings that I can’t override.
Any easy/good software out there for this that someone here uses?

If you’re starting from scratch aweber is very legit. If you need to import a list though iContact is also pretty good and will let you do that.
Man, thanks for telling me about Aweber and iContact, I’ma definitely look into those way more.
There is already a list set up, but it’s practically useless. 1and1 bullshit. Every time I log in to their control panel, I end up leaving disappointed compared to ASO.
