I tried to tell my client flash is not that great but he still wants it.

Your client is an idiot. They hired you to make these types of decisions. I wouldn’t put up with it, and I’m normally one to advise people to suck it up and do the job.

setup flash with Zend AMF to pull the data from the database.. Simple enough if you are comfortable enough looking through and understanding the wordpress database
i googled for days and found nothing like this.
i still might push him to go straight HTML though,
ExpressionEngine can export content to an XML file, after that it’s all up to your Flash skills to read the XML file into flash.
I’d abort this client.
html5 would make more sense if they insisted on something this stupid…
Yeah your job is to convince them its a stupid idea there are zero advantages and a whole bunch of disadvantages by doing it like this.
