So I’m helping a friend out with a conversion to wordpress. He’s got a custom coded blog cms that sucks. I’ve got a rough outline mostly based on the 4hww design. It’s super rough and needs quite a bit of style but the basic elements are there. The main problem is that I can manipulate data all day long but I turn into a retard when it comes to CSS. We’re trying to avoid dropping 3k for someone to just make a 2 column theme that looks bad ass.

Any advice on turning this into a theme or general advice on what you would change? Who would you have do it?

thanks!

looks alright, straight foward and simple.

who quoted you 3k to code that?

you can get it done a lot cheaper, it’s not very complicated.

3k was basically take this and run with it, probably code some backend. I prefer not to say, but it’s one of the largest theme makers and it would be pretty sweet, but 3k is pretty high.

holy conflicting fonts. I see like 10 diff fonts at least on that page

Ya this is just me picking random shit to get colors and layout.
