Been using xRumer for about a month now on my sites, not really noticing to much yet except for the aditional profile/forum post backlinks.

Anyone seen any results in rankings/pr when using xRumer?

Xrumer has the ability to actually create accounts and stuff on forums, etc. Scrapebox posts on blogs/forums which allow for guest posting. That’s pretty much the distinctive difference.

negative. set how many connections you want, etc and run it while you do shit. That’s what I do anyways. It isn’t as good as it was months back imo but it’s a great tool. Does more than just commenting too

No im not, I have 50+ throw away domains that link to my money sites I blast to. I know im getting backlinks, but no change in serp, pr, nothing. Im also going through and blasting the profiles pages/posts created to blogs and such via scrapebox.

Also scrapebox has been shit lately, if the program doesnt crash the results are horrible

I’m talking based on experience. Obviously if you do a modest amount then it won’t be a problem but that defeats the purposes of spamming and you won’t see any real result from a bunch of PR1 profile backlinks.

Just give it time man, from what you’ve said you’re doing things right - it just takes google a bit to catch up and start moving you around. You gotta remember that most links you get from xrumer are between PR0-3 and not very high quality so it’s going to take thousands. How many sites are you scraping and how many links are you getting in each blast? I’ve had the most luck with blasting web 2.0 properties and articles on article directories.

I just did a blast that’s nothing but PR2+ profiles. 2,000 of them actually. Directed right at my money site.

I’m sure it’ll be fine. Nobody will be going after me for spamming, and the links should stay there for a while.

it just takes practice and figuring it out. Scrapebox is very very good at what it does though. Pro tip: I usually filter out any thing >PR5 and manually add the comments to make sure they stick.

A friend of mine did that manually for his own business. From what I can tell he built his up to around 1700 backlinks and he makes around 60-90k a year from that site. He does, however, sit at a good spot in his niche. Providing useful tips and good content helped him out a lot because happy customers linked to his site elsewhere on the web.
