I currently going to using Zencart for a skateshop that will most likely have 75items or less, is there any other ebusiness types out there thats better than Zencart? that doesnt cost money?
wheres a good place to buy cheap templates?
Ubercart and Magento are carts that I think are better than ZenCart. Both are open source.

Go with Ubercart if you want something relatively easy. Go with Magento if you’re willing to hire a web developer. The Magento learning curve is too steep for newbies, especially folks that are from the Zen-Cart community.
Use a template if and only if the e-commerce site is a secondary function of your business, because it’s not likely that a template is going to get you the conversions needed to keep you in the black.
You might also consider Shopify, WordPress (+ecommerce addon), or even Amazon, egay, etc.
