I have a client that wants to move his online news site to the us due to legal reasons. For this purpose I need a reliable and secure hosting service with good customer service.
The site isn’t too big so I don’t need any dedicated server or other stuff. I need around 500MB of space, PHP 5.2 or newer, MySQL 5.0 or newer, multiple email accounts and forwarders and normal ftp access. The site gets around 30.000 hits a month so nothing to extreme.
? Thinking about using it for my company to run e-mail campaigns and promotions, bunch of good analytical info software, easy to manage subscribers.. I already have a CRM that can do most of this, and bulk send e-mails and run campaigns, but it sucks. $30/extra a month is cheap though, but it’s still extra $ spent.
Anyone use it? Please give me a review? Or tell me why it’s great or bad?
I think they’re definitely the best for being ahead of the curve for advanced features ( first I saw that had multiple types of A/B testing, segmenting by geography, etc. ) Continue reading →
Just built my first site that is related to affiliate marketing. I’m basically finding products in a niche and posting them on the site. At the moment I am not with any affiliates. Will I get in trouble if I save photos from retailers and post them on my site, with a link to their site to buy it even though I am not affiliated?
I’m Canadian?
I’m not doing any SEO right now and still in the process of developing the site and testing with different products. I want to sign up as an Amazon Affiliate in the next couple of days, but not sure whether to put products on my site, or leave it finished, but blank, and explain to them what I want to do. Once I’m with Amazon, I’m hoping it’ll make it easier to get into CJ.
It’s shitty but I guess it has 5 different engines you can pick from (at the top). I only used the first one and it came out sounding like an ESL kid raped a thesaurus, but maybe someone here has some use for it.

A webhosting company in 2005 (which is odd cuz the domain name has nothing to do with webhosting) and then apparently a linkfarm or directory in 2006 (10,000s of links in different "categories") and then nothing from 2007 until I just bought it last month.’
I found this out because Google Webmaster tools told me there was a backlink to my site at some other website that I’d never heard of before, so then I looked it up on the web archive and found entries from 2005 and 2006 (I probably should’ve done this before I bought it). Continue reading →
Seriously though, I’ve been getting these mass blog spam type comments except instead of linking to buyfreeviagra.com or whatever, the links go to google.com and facebook.com. Are these spammers just doing it wrong?
No. They are setting up pages on google and facebook with affiliate links to the products on amazon.
but it’s and , not
How would a backlink to google.com or facebook.com help them?
