did the PSD, outsourced the magento theme creation and some custom module programming to some nepal web agency for ~$2,500 (really good price)

outsourced video recording to some video spokesman site $750
outsourced video graphic animation to some guy on oDesk $500

touched up a bunch of other shit myself

now tracking conversions by putting $20 a day on adwords for a week to see how well it converts and where it needs adjustments.

I’ve used ICDSoft in the past and always loved their control panel. I haven’t been able to find another host that has something like it. The only downside to ICD is their personal account only offers 1GB of storage.

So like if your site becomes corrupt or whatever you just click a button and reupload everything back to how it was before.

Does that exist?

Does Hostgator do it for you?

I just copied the whole works with my FTP client to my harddrive. If it becomes corrupt simply delete every single thing and replace it with what you have on the hard drive.

I’ve heard terrible things about host gator from the black hat side of things. Apparently if they don’t like you they will delete all your crap and move on without even notifying you that they did it.
