I’m just posting because im not sure how to explain this. But when i was looking at the access logs yesterday it had one indian server pinging the site a good 200 times, it was mostly on the one page.
I also noticed there was a few other indian visitors doing the exact same thing but just far less.
Also of interest is according to the stat counter the resolution and browser of the same IP address changed everytime they refreshed the page (which was every minute).

I’ve been doing my own research so far, and I hope I’m on the right track. My website will be simple, mostly a wall of text, 200+ pictures, and about 10-20 short videos. I probably will not use any other flash or animations. I may use youtube embedding unless there is something that is better. I’m selling my house and cars in case you were wondering.
I’m very unsure about the amount of visitors I will get daily. If my site performs poorly, I would expect about 50 to 100 people per day to look around the site. If the site performs like I hope and pray it will, I may get 5000 visitors per day.

Basically, I’m able to go around and search local websites and find e-mail lists, take them off facebook, among a million other ways.. I can generate about 10,000-20,000 e-mails pretty quick. I want to send out some sort of special promotion e-mail for the company, HOWEVER after reading a ton of articles.. They say it’s viewed as spam and the majority of the people end up with a bad company image and hate you for sending them the e-mail..
I mean it’s one e-mail how hard is it to delete and move on. But what do you guys think? Everyone on the e-mail is in the same City/Location as the company.. I don’t know what to do.
